My grandmother always had a knack for giving thoughtful things you didn’t know you needed—like the tiny blue digital camera she handed me in 2014. I photographed everything I could: her table centerpiece, the windows, the clothesline. Before long, I’d run out of things in her house and needed a new subject.
I started photographing friends and family. In 2017, my aunt asked me to capture her elopement—my first wedding. Since then, I’ve photographed more than forty. My grandmother passed not long after giving me that little blue camera, but I still think of her every time I pick it up.
Young Anna dreamed of being an interior designer, a teacher, and a princess. Teaching eventually won out (and was a bit more realistic than becoming royalty), and for good reason — I’ve always been drawn to people, creativity and problem solving, and making others feel seen. And while my work setting has changed, my heart hasn't.
Photography brings together my past and present loves: care, creativity, and a deep desire to serve people well.
Photos should do more than show what happened—they should let you feel it all over again. The nerves, the joy, the love. Your photos should reflect the sacredness of your story.
From initial inquiry to gallery delivery, I offer communication and planning assistance to give you peace of mind. No guesswork. No fluff. Just genuine care and thoughtful structure.
Marriage is a covenant—one worth honoring with the kind of storytelling that lasts. My aim is to craft images that won’t feel outdated in five years because these moments are not just for now. They’re for you to look back on, and for your children to one day hold.
I’m based in Central Virginia, near Harrisonburg and Charlottesville.
I moved to Virginia in 2024 and have been absolutely loving the area, and all it has to offer. From its history to diverse landscaping, it is truly one of the most beautiful places I have ever had the privilege of living.
where are you based?
I do! I've spent my life moving up and down the East Coast—from Eastern Pennsylvania to North Carolina, to Western PA, and now Virginia. Each place holds a piece of my heart, and I love returning to those familiar corners for weddings. I have even photographed weddings in New Hampshire and South Carolina, which was such an honor and fun experience.
do you travel?
You'll receive a thoughtfully curated collection of images, enough to relive the full story of your day, but not so many that you’re overwhelmed. The exact number of images depends on how many hours of coverage you book, but you can be sure every photo is hand-edited and selected with care. Your final gallery will be delivered within 5–7 weeks, with a few sneak peeks shared along the way.
how many images will we receive, and when?
I do not! Each photo you receive has been carefully selected and thoughtfully edited to reflect not just how things looked, but how they felt. That means removing distractions (like exit signs or test shots), refining colors and tones, and crafting a gallery that tells your story in the most honest, beautiful way.
DO you give raw/unedited images?
Yes—and I truly believe your images deserve to live beyond a screen. There's something sacred about holding your story in your hands, whether it’s a linen-bound album that rests on your coffee table for decades, or a single framed print passed down through generations. Your gallery includes a professional print shop with hand-picked options for albums, wall art, and heirloom gifts—so you can preserve your memories with intention and beauty.
do you offer prints or albums?
Yes! A 35% non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking to officially reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before a session and 3 weeks before a wedding. If you'd prefer to have additional payments schedule to lower the amount of each payment, just let me know. I'm happy to work with you to make the payment process as stress-free as possible!
