Hannah and Karl’s wedding at Bally Spring Inn in Pennsylvania will forever hold a place in my heart. They married in October, surrounded by the first touches of fall, when the fields and trees were just beginning to shift into autumn. The Bally Spring Inn grounds offered everything Hannah had dreamed of: a landscape that felt like a painting. She told me beforehand that she wanted dramatic, romantic photographs that embraced the natural beauty of the venue, and she was absolutely right, it was the perfect canvas for their wedding.
When I look back at these images from Bally Spring Inn, I still feel the same pride I did when I first delivered their gallery. The sweeping outdoor portraits, the way the autumn colors wrapped around the celebration, the joy etched on their faces, it all comes together as a reminder of why I photograph weddings in the first place. Even though this day was years ago, it continues to stand out as one of the most timeless and romantic weddings I’ve had the honor of capturing.
