COLOR PALETTE INSPIRATION – PART ONE

If you wedding plan like I wedding planned, you have spent hours scrolling through Pinterest looking for inspiration.

And while this can be helpful and enjoyable, it can also be overwhelming and distract you from your original vision. It’s important to remember that replicating those Pinterest-perfect photos exactly can be challenging unless you’re working with the exact same vendors and sourcing everything from the same places. Even then, your wedding will have its own unique charm that reflects your personal style.

Recently, I had a conversation with a bride who expressed concerns about how her wedding colors would translate in her final photo gallery. She had chosen her colors based on images from Pinterest and the dress sites, not realizing that my photography style might differ from those of the original photos that inspired her decisions. I reassured her that capturing the integrity of her chosen colors is always a priority. My goal is to enhance and preserve those carefully chosen details.

However, I completely understood her concern.

Introducing my new Color Palette Inspiration series.

These blog posts are designed to help you envision how your chosen color scheme might appear through my specific photography style. While I can’t promise identical results from wedding to wedding—since lighting and location play significant roles in the final look—I hope this series will provide you with a clearer idea of how your vision could translate into your final gallery.

Your wedding day is a unique celebration of your love and style, and my aim is to capture its essence authentically. Embrace the beauty of your choices, and trust that together we will create timeless memories that reflect the joy and emotions of your special day!

Without further ado, here is the first wedding color palette!

These colors reflect a natural beauty that will provide warmth to even the coldest winter wedding. This wedding took place on a snowy day in January, and these soft, sophisticated tones stood out so beautifully against the cloudy sky and snow flurries. This palette has undoubtedly become one of my all-time favorites for weddings.
